Histrica is a modern, open encyclopedia that tells the story of humanity, its civilizations, religions and Planet Earth. Every article is designed to be read on a phone or a wide monitor, to load fast and to link generously across time and place.

To make the deep history of the world beautiful, browsable and open — from the formation of the Earth 4.5 billion years ago to the events shaping our century.

How it's built

Histrica is built with TanStack Start, Tailwind CSS and an interactive SVG world map. Content is versioned, sourced and available under a permissive Creative Commons license.
